I have sent the following email to Mr. MacGregor:
        Dear Mr. MacGregor –

I am appalled that you would make such a comment that:
“We believe these (DES) claims are without merit and are prepared to defend against them vigorously,” said Eli Lilly spokesman J. Scott MacGregor.”

My mother was prescribed DES in the early 60’s, after miscarrying several times. She was pregnant a total of 9 times and only produced 4 healthy babies. DES was prescribed to her so that she would have healthy babies.

I am a now a 45 year old DES Daughter who has suffered from numerous bouts of dysplasia over the past 15-20 years. I was never able to conceive and at 38 started Premature Ovarian Failure & Menopause. I haven’t had a menstrual cycle since that time and my window of opportunity to have children has closed.
My sister (47), is also a DES daughter, has two children but they were difficult pregnancies, one was born at 27 weeks, the other at 38 – but my sister was on bed rest. Her first pregnancy she had gestational diabetes and Preeclampsia. Please pardon my spelling.

The effects of the second generation of the children of DES daughters remains to be seen in my family.

However, I am disgusted that you would suggest that the DES Claims are without merit given all the studies. Please refer to my notes on my website at http://www.htooos.com/DES.htm and rethink your statement.

    Remember the Zyprexa scandal.
The Eli Lilly company made an astounding $67 BILLION on Zyprexa that they PUSHED on the elderly and underage children (*Viva Zyprexa* Lilly sales rep slogan) with wanton disregard for the side effects
    *FIVE at FIVE*
The Zyprexa antipsychotic drug, whose side effects can include weight gain and diabetes, was sold to Veterans, children in foster care, elderly in nursing homes.
*Five at Five* was the Zyprexa sales rep slogan, meaning *5mg dispensed at 5pm would keep patients quiet*.
*Tell the truth don’t be afraid*– Daniel Haszard
