I am 40 and a DES daughter. My 11 year old son just had a meatoplasty to repair the opening of his penis which was too small. Coincidence? I think not! The pediatric urologist discovered the issue when blood appeared in my sons urine. My son was bending his penis over so that the urine would stream in to the bowl properly. This was causing microscopic tears and bleeding. I read the article about the french study and I am flabergasted at the results. I never really worried about my DES causing my son problems. Although we repaired a small issue I can’t help but wonder what else is coming?
