People are sharing so many moving and incredible comments under the “Eli Lilly – Fess Up on DES!” petition.
Here’s a recent one that will resonant with all of you:
“I’m a poet, you’ve given, via Ruth Lilly, millions of dollars to the Poetry Foundation in Chicago, which, in my mind, they’ve used to contract rather than expand community. It’s your karma on the line, not mine–why are you so violently indignant and so desperately refuse to simply apologize, to acknowledge what is proven beyond a doubt? Don’t you understand how such an attitude makes you appear corrupt, inhumane, greedy, and downright cruel? I’m a DES Daughter, and that has made my life as a woman extraordinarily challenging. I’m also, as mentioned, a poet. And am writing about it, and will continue to write about it, and will never stop troving the research from all the way back to Charles Dobbs, and in agriculture journals, wildlife journals, sociology journals, medical journals (my father was a doctor, he had one of your black bags from when he graduated medical school), environmental journals, etc, because I know how to bring all that information into one focus, in ways that are impossible to refute, and it’s going to suck for you.”
Well said! How to go!
My life will never be the same thanks to Eli Lilly. You can pay enough for all the damage you have cause to the families lives you have destroyed!!! I know mine was changed forever!!!I must now see a Doctor every three months, and hope and pray for good news.My three adult daughter will live in fear that they too my be at risk.So I’m asking you to settle up the rest of these cases because not one of us have any idea how long we have!!!Not even thinking of the financial burden you have caused for us as Des daughters.
What an amazing posting – please write about it and keep writing about it until this DES tragedy is out there for all to know and read about! The avalanche is coming…..
